WORKING TITLE:  Substitute Teacher                    SALARY:  $7.25 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be willing to obtain or have training and experience in areas that include: theories and principles of child growth and development, early childhood education and family support. Must become familiar with all backgrounds of families in the program Must obtain CPR/First Aid Certification, Food Handlers Certification, Medication Administer training and HIPAA training. The person selected for this position must be professionally prepared as a teacher of young children especially in the field of early childhood education, development or preschool special education. Must relate well to both children and adults.  This person must have the personality and ability to provide leadership and stability for program continuity.

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:  Ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, flexibility, organizational skills, and high energy level. Experience with children and early childhood development knowledge.
